I know I don’t write about music so much, but that’s because my taste in music is very limited. Like, as in pretty much only songs from the 1980′s limited. Okay, yes, I do like some current stuff, but I’m definitely more a lover of retro music, which is why I got a kick out of hearing that the 10,000,000,000 song downloaded on iTunes turned out to be an oldie: “Guess Things Happen That Way,” by Johnny Cash. The guy who bought the 10 billionth download, a 71-year-old retired real estate broker living in Woodstock, GA, will receive a $10,000 iTunes gift card, AND he heard from both Steve Jobs and Roseanne Cash, thanking him for his well-spent 99 cents.
